I was spending countless hours in front of screens, over-analyzing what step to take, and starting and stopping various health related programs. I quickly realized that continuing on this path was not sustainable.

I have always carried a deep interest in adventure travel. When I gave myself permission to embrace the longings in my heart, that is when my health and life took off!

This has led me on some of the craziest adventures, including mountain climbing, paddle expeditions, and travel to remote places from the tip of Africa to the hidden villages in the Himalayas.

Through these experiences, my life began to transform….I Restored my Shine and became more radiant and magnetic than I had ever been in my life!

Week 1: Pillars of Health 
During this class, we will review the 5 Pillars of health.

You will have an opportunity to identify:
-Strategies that you can implement to nourish the pillars in your life and identify what barriers are in the way of their optimization.
-Qi Gong postures and movements for grounding and clearing.
Week 2: Creating Stillness 
During this class, we will discover simple strategies you can incorporate into your day to foster a sense of peace and tranquility, and maintain your centre amidst the chaos of life.

During this class you will learn:
-Mindfulness strategies
-Qi Gong postures and breath work to slow our minds down

Week 3: Boosting Energy
The focus of this class will be to improve our energy and vitality. We will discuss how to tap into our sense of creativity and realize the need for play in our lives in order to restore our energy reserves.

You can expect to discover:
-Foods that can increase energy production in the body
-How to decrease connections with habits, people, & behviours that drain your energy
-How we can create more time for play and fun in our day
-Qi Gong postures to boost energy
Week 4: Mindful Mood
During this class, we will learn dietary and lifestyle strategies to positively influence your mood.

You will have an opportunity to identify:
-What thought patterns and behaviours are perpetuating a negative thinking state in your life.
-A list of resources for yourself to shift your perspective in the moments you need an attitude adjustment
-Qi Gong poses to lift your spirits
Week 5: Increasing Physical & Emotional Endurance 
During this class, we will unpack ways to expand our comfort zones and zones of “tolerance”.

During this class you will:
-Learn practical tips on how you can start expanding your own comfort zone
-Discover the theory of anti-fragility
-Have an opportunity to review Qi Gong routines from previous week
Week 6: Resiliency
During this class, we will explore how and why certain stressful events can allow us to develop resiliency.

You can expect to:
-Learn why it’s important to develop and nurture a mindset of resilience
-Make an inventory of challenging situations you’ve overcome, noting what supports helped you to move through those difficult moments
-Be introduced to Qi Gong breathwork exercises that will remind you of your ability to do difficult things
Week 7: Hobbies & Passions 
During this class, we will explore the importance of having past times as a means to improve your vitality and wellbeing.

You will have an opportunity to:
-Identify what your current hobbies and interests are
-Reflect on what is holding you back from pursuing a dream interest of yours
-Build on our Qi Gong routines and skills so that we are confident in our daily practice
Week 8: Community & Connection
During this class, we will unpack the importance of community and connection as it relates to our health

During this class you will learn:
-How we can improve our connection with others and our natural environment
-Ways to engage more deeply with our local communities
-How to practice distance Qi Gong

Yes! All sessions will be recorded and sent out within 24 hrs of the class. So if you miss a class or want to re-watch the sessions, you can!
Do I need to have any special experience?
There are no prerequisites! All you need is a willingness to try new things. 
How do we attend?
All sessions will occur over Zoom.

What is Qi Gong?
Qi Gong is a form of meditative movement that includes visualizations, breathwork, and meditation that allows us to return to our true self..

It is suitable for all ages and abilities and postures can be modified for individuals experiencing an injury or lack of mobility.
Do I have to engage with the group? Do I have to have my camera on?
This program is designed as a group format. Turning on your camera is recommended. It’s important for the growth of all the participants that each person engages in the discussions. The goal is to expand your comfort zone, build connection and restore your shine! 
Are we receiving treatment?
This program is designed to be educational and motivational. No specific treatment advice will be provided during the program, and it does not replace a one-on-one appointment with your healthcare provider. As it is a group format, please note that any information you share (if you choose to share), will be heard by others in the group.
